Our Mission Statement...

The goal of  Beverlys Dance of Moody, Inc. is to provide excellence in dance education in a nurturing environment
conducive to learning.

Our focus is to encourage all of our students to work hard, to strive for improvement, have
self-discipline and be respectful to others.  We offer a diverse program; students may dance
either as a form of recreation while developing grace and poise or strive to achieve a high level of
technique and performing skills which may lead to a professional career.  Through the process of their achievement with our positive reinforcement, they all develop their own personal self-esteem. The lessons they learn about goal setting, time management and
focus are lessons they can apply to all facets of their lives.

Our Story...

Beverly's started as a small studio in Woodlawn, AL in 1954 by Beverly Simpson Cunningham.  A few years later she moved her studio to Center Point, AL where it stayed for years.  A few years ago Sheree Grose, her daughter, took over the family business where she moved the studio to Clay, AL.  Since then three more studios have opened.  The Gardendale location was opened by Sheree's brother and sister-in-law, Shannon and Krista Simpson.  The Locust Fork location is owned by Chris and Suzette Dyar, Sheree's Sister and Brother-in-law.  The newest addition was opened in 2008 in Moody, AL by Sheree Grose.
